I am trained in various therapeutic modalities i.e. Client-centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Systems therapy. However, I am not married to a specific modality, treatment for me should be tailored to meet the needs of the client, this may look like adopting an integrative therapeutic modality or adopting a specific modality suitable to the presenting problem of the client.
I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree (BA) and a Bachelor of Arts honour’s degree (BAHons) in Psychology from the University of Johannesburg, Kingsway Campus. I also completed a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology (MSc) from Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences university (SMU), formerly called MEDUNSA in Pretoria.
